Hello Anon,I'll try to do a detailed post on this, but here are some quick notes:First, understand that Perform Quality Assurance is an umbrella for continuous process improvement on a project. In Perform Quality Assurance, we check whether quality standards are being followed. It's usually performed by a group outside the project, such as a Quality Assurance department.In Perform Quality Control, we check whether we are meeting the standards. It's usually performed by the Quality Control department. For example, in a software application development project, system testing is a quality control activity. But, when someone analyzes the results of testing to see whether developers are following the software development standards, or even recommend changes to the standards, it's a quality assurance activity.
